LATN 350 - Roman Comedy At least one complete play from the early Roman comedians, Plautus and Terence, is closely read and analyzed in this course. The focus is on Roman social structure satirized and revealed within the comedies as well as on the unique language of the plays. This allows a glimpse at a more colloquial Latin than that of later poets and prose stylists.
