LATN 321 - Livy Selections from Livy’s Ab Urbe Condita are closely read and analyzed. Particular attention is paid to Livy’s historiographical method as well as to the Roman republican period that is the subject of the bulk of his work. Selections from other Roman historians may be examined for comparison.
