ECON 231 - Inequality and Public Policy Examines causes of rising inequality over the last few decades and its effects on American democracy and the economy. Studies inequality, including the role of race and gender, and policies that serve to ameliorate or exacerbate inequality in the context of a variety of applied areas, such as education, the environment, housing, the criminal justice system, and more.
