FREN 201 - Intermediate French: Conversation and Composition Designed to improve students’ ability to understand, speak, read, and write French. Class time is devoted to communication activities, a study of intermediate grammar, conversational vocabulary, and Francophone culture. Language Placement Guidelines
Credits: 1.00 Corequisite: None Prerequisites: Two or three years of secondary-school French, or a one- year college elementary French course. Major/Minor Restrictions: None Class Restriction: None Restrictions: Not open to students who score 3 or higher on the French AP language exam Recommended: May be taken as a refresher course by students who studied French in secondary school as follows: three years of study ending at least one-half year before, four years of study ending at least a year and a half before.
