ECON 468 - Seminar in American Economic History Advanced study of selected issues in American economic history, with emphasis on the 19th and 20th centuries. Topics change from year to year. Topics covered include the economics of the Antebellum South and the Civil War, the Great Depression, the development of labor markets, the demographic evolution of the United States, agriculture, industry and transport since colonial times, and money, banking, and financial markets.
