ECON 450 - Seminar in International Economics An advanced study of selected international economic problems, with special reference to the role of theories in the understanding and solution of such problems. Emphasizes current issues in trade policy: the rules of the WTO; foreign investment, debt, and the operations of MNCs; the appropriateness of particular saving, investment, trade balances, and exchange rates; and the macroeconomic coordination efforts of the IMF and the G-7.
