CHEM 468 - Medicinal Chemistry In this half-semester course, the basic principles of the drug discovery process are explored. Topics include traditional and novel approaches, mode of action, quantitative structure activity relationships, absorption, distribution, metabolism, and inactivation of medicinal agents. In addition, major drug classes are presented along with specific case studies for each category.
