GEOL 215L - Paleontology of Marine Life Lab Required corequisite to . Lab and field exercises emphasize hands-on learning about the principles of paleontology, paleontological techniques, and the major groups of fossil-forming marine invertebrate animals. Local fieldtrips engage students in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting the remains of organisms that lived in Madison County more than 300 million years ago.
