FREN 353 - Introduction to French Literature: Literary Innovations in the 20th to 21st Centuries Offers a close reading of some representative works of the 20th and 21st centuries. Selections are chosen from the shorter fiction and essays of outstanding French writers and include such authors as Apollinaire, Gide, Sartre, Camus, Ionesco, Ponge, Ernaux and Modiano.
