ITAL 354 - Modern Italian Culture This course critically introduces students to the very diverse facets of modern and contemporary Italian culture. Students will engage with a wide variety of literary and nonliterary texts, such as books, newspapers, music, theatrical works, films, etc. The course aims at investigating the concept of Italian identity in its relationship to issues of class, gender, race, and ethnicity. Students will enhance their linguistic skills through reading materials, writing compositions, listening activities and oral productions.
